Mary possesses a Master of Arts in Development Studies, Uganda Martyrs University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, University of Nairobi, Kenya. Mary has several years of proven experience in child centered community development practice. She has previously worked with both National, Regional, International NGOs/ Funding organisations. Mary is especially resourced in program development, strategy formulation, human, women & child rights programming, gender mainstreaming, GBV, lobby and policy advocacy, organizational assessments and capacity building, research as well as monitoring and evaluation. Further, Mary has extensive development communication and conflict resolution/alternative dispute resolution experience. Specifically Mary has previously worked with a number human rights organisations and is a member of various committees /forums on gender, child rights and policy advocacy. She has additionally been an active participant in the RESA Communication Forum where gender and child rights issues were articulated through media.
